This is our cat Es and she has a hot spot near the beginning of her tail. She has never had one and she will not leave it alone. So I made her a halo to stop her from getting near the sore. As you can see we had to keep adding to the halo cause she figured out how to get to the area. Travis finally went to the good ole duck tape and it made the halo stiff. Now Es can't get to it and it is starting to heal. I put neosporin on it and now I'm putting on Emprizone. She does pretty good with keeping the halo on but she dosen't walk to good lol. I'm just tickled pink that she is on the road to a full recovery.

Wow...that is mighty clever Chicky and it sounds like it is starting to help Es mend. They are always uncomfortable for cats and dogs to wear "Grin" but do the trick when they have a sore. Hey..maybe you could make and sell halos "Grin". Put a few cute graphic pics on it. Love you. Ginger
I better get a 4th of July halo going for her lol. She is really taking it ok to wear that silly haloand it sure stops her from digging to the bone and she about did. Love you!!!

She is doing better but keeps finding ways to get past the halo lol.

Yes we are making Es feel better. It was the size of a quarter but now it is around the size of a dime. The swelling went down and finally she cant pick at it. The smoke is terrible and we stayed inside yesterday and this morning. Heard on the news about 8 fires around here but most is coming from Cali. It has really bugged my eyes. I went in the pool this afternoon but only up to knees cause I was cleaning it out from the wind. It was a mess and I'm sure i'll have to do more tomorrow. I'm getting more tan lines and I love it. I was in the pool two days ago almost three hours lol. I love the water and it sure can cool you down. Well, I'm off to go watch tv and go to sleepyland pretty soon. Es jumped on me last night and scared me to death so hope it dosen't happen again. With the halo on she can't see from the sides and real funny to see her walk. Nighty nighty my sweet girl..

Well, not much going on in this neck of the woods but will post soon. Had to do a recovery not long ago and I need all my paint shop pro tubes and frames put back on. Travis put them on a thingy of his that saved them and I'll get him to put them all back on.
