What a really nice Thanksgiving I got to share with my son Travis. He arrived late Wednesday from being on the road for over a month. Played his song for the talent show a little bit before watching some TV. Travis went to bed pretty early so he could get a few extra winks for the BIG TURKEY DAY. In the morning he finished preparing his song for the talent show that he had been practicing while driving his big rig. We went over to Dottie and Ken's and enjoyed Thanksgiving with all the family. Rest of the time Travis recorded some music for the road and I made it through that lol. We played a few games of Kings In The Corner with some pirate cards he has had about ten years and several games of the board game MURDER. We watched several movies that he had watched while out on the road and some more TV shows. It was a nice three days that he got to spend at home before leaving this morning at 7:30 am and heading for Fontana, California. Thanks Travis for giving me such memories that I got to share with you this Thanksgiving and I'm very blessed to have you as my son. Until next time be safe out there and look out for the four wheelers on the road with you.
Love you,
Mom

What a nice post about Travis coming home for Thanksgiving. He had fun and some needed R&R time before going back out on the road. You got to share quality time with him also. Love you and thanks for posting; it lets me see what's going on in your world. Love...Ginger
Sounds like you guys had a really great Thanksgiving. Sorry I didn't comment on this earlier. I haven't had much time to spend on the blog. So glad Travis got to be home for Thanksgiving. It sounds like he is working for a good company. Take care. Love you all.
